Greater Madison area’s In Business magazine featured a story about FGS’s Restoration Technician, Bob Beasley and the flooding at Hitters Sports Complex in Middleton in their November 2018 edition.  

From early afternoon on Monday, August 20 through the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 21, western Dane County received a staggering amount of rain – between 7 to 15 inches in some communities! Subsequent flooding caused over $154 million in damage to residences, businesses and public infrastructure.

First. Fast. Friendly.

Bob and the FGS crew were called in to Hitters Sports Complex on August 21 and worked one day, 24 hours straight and the drying equipment and generators ran solidly for 7 days!

…Hitters’ General Manager Joel Tennison, at the front desk this day, recalls the morning after the storm when he sloshed through the flooded streets to open the building and discovered the entire 50,000 square-foot facility submerged under six to eight inches of floodwater. “The power was out,” he says, “and I couldn’t really see anything other than daylight outside. It was scary, knowing there was electrical in the building.” He estimates that the business sustained about $200,000 in damage, not including lost business…
